It is with very sad regret that our Convoy For Kids Annual Truck Day in Melbourne, could NOT be held.. However, we are looking to hold a Convoy at a later date, but WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT. (PLEASE READ MORE BELOW)

VENUE:

WE URGENTLY NEED A VENUE LARGE ENOUGH TO TAKE BETWEEN approx 150+ TRUCKS. If you can help or know a company who may be able to help us with a large space, please contact Jan on: 1300 CONVOY (1300-266869) 7 DAYS.

We are in our 21st Year of helping Special Kids, and as stated, due to a number of reasons (which are beyond our control), we could hold this special day this year. With more support from the TRANSPORT INDUSTRY and related businesses, we will be able to hold the Convoy at on a different date.

This was the Lead Truck for the 2009 Convoy For Kids Inc...... WHO WILL LEAD THE NEXT CONVOY ??? Without Corporate Partnership support from the Transport Industry, a large enough VENUE and GENUINE Volunteers, there will be NO lead Truck, and no Convoy.

Convoy For Kids Inc. is the TRUCKIES and TRANSPORT INDUSTRY Charity and WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT (NOT just promises). The picture is of Tyler Fishlock getting ready to ride in the Lead Truck 2008. Convoy provided all Tyler's Braille Equipment and School requirements. Tyler lost both eyes to Cancer.

As all our Patron's, Executive Committee and Members are TOTALLY VOLUNTARY donating their time and expertise to help Special children, without the support of the Transport Industry and Sponsorship from within and outside of the Industry, plus a Venue large enough to hold this special day, AND genuinely committed Volunteers who will adhere to our Constitution and behaviour rules at events, our hands are tied at the moment.
